The latest issue of Party magazine features an article about Dutch female single and mature celebrities (Tineke de Nooij, Erica Terpstra, Hanneke Groenteman, José Hoebee and Rachel Hazes).
From 1974 to 1980, José was married to Maarten Andreoli. Then she married record producer Will Hoebee in 1981 and lived with him until his death from cancer in 2012. Will and José had a son named Tim (born in 1985). José still misses Will seven years after his death. "A new man in my life? It won't happen that fast," José told Party. "I have a nice life right now. I have a lot of friends," she added. Currently, the singer is busy performing with her Luv' colleagues in the Netherlands and Belgium.
