Yesterday, José Hoebee and friends (including Louise Schmidt, Henk Koudijzer, Elly Domenie, Henk Koudijzer, Willem Meijerink, Maria Zuiddam and Joseph Schamp) attended the release party of Astrid Nijgh's book "Varen met de Jonge Jacob – Lennaert en ik op de Urker kotter 114". This event took place at The Waag in Haarlem, NL.
Astrid wrote her book about her relationship with her first husband, Dutch lyricist Lennaert Nijgh (1945 - 2002) and the time they spent on the boat "Urker kotter 114". Lennaert collaborated with the "crème de la crème" of the Dutch music scene (Boudewijn de Groot, Liesbeth List & Ramses Shaffy, Rob de Nijs...). In 1973, Astrid scored a big hit "Ik doe wat ik doe" (#6 on the Dutch Top 40). Now she lives with her partner Louise Schmidt in Spijkenisse.
